Swedish Pendant in Pine, 1970s
A sculptural Swedish pendant from the 1970s, crafted in solid pine. The shade is constructed from layered wooden slats arranged in a rhythmic, almost architectural formation, creating both depth and movement in the design. The warm tone of the pine enhances the natural character of the piece, typical of Scandinavian lighting from the period.
Suspended by cords, the construction gives the lamp a light, floating presence despite its substantial form. The open structure allows light to filter both downward and through the gaps between the slats, producing a soft, atmospheric glow.
A distinctive piece that works equally well as a statement pendant over a dining table or in a living space.
Condition: Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age. Fully functional.
Wiring: All our lamps are wired for EU standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for US standards.
