Swedish chandeliers by Holger Johansson for Westal, 1970s
A set of four substantial Swedish chandeliers from the 1970s, designed by Holger Johansson for Westal. Each piece combines stained pine, brass and cylindrical acrylic shades in a clean, architectural composition. The dark-stained wooden core adds warmth and contrast, while the brass stem provides a refined vertical accent.
Each shade conceals two light sources—one uplight and one downlight—creating a balanced illumination that softly diffuses through the acrylic while also casting light upward. This dual-light construction gives the chandeliers both presence and atmosphere, making them well suited for larger dining or living spaces.
Please note that the price is per lamp.
