Scandinavian Lounge Chair Model 4093 by Hans Brattrud, Norway

Known for his world famous Hove Møbler Scandia designs, a series of both formed plywood side chairs and lounge chairs, Hans Brattrud also designed furniture for Norcraft during the mid 1950’s. One these Norcraft designs presented here is the 4093 chair, a stunning example of Norwegian craftsmanship from the modern Scandinavian era, comprising of solid oakwood, original backrest saddle leather and a newly upholstered seat cushion in high quality Italian thick weave linen textile.
